Page Design Group created a wave-like system for a plaza showcasing all that California has to offer. I then applied it to various mediums throughout the event.
Adaptation
The unique layering of curves implies dimension even on flat surfaces. The dimension helped give life to the conceptualization of a 40′ sand sculpture on Huntington Beach.
Environmental
Due to the subtle quality of the wave, it can be applied to all branded material in the plaza without overwhelming the visitor. The large blocks of blue and white push the information front and center.
Community Benefit
Tourism is an essential industry for California. Tourism spending alone saves California taxpayers an average of $890 a household. By presenting California as a tier 1 destination, international travel agents are more likely to recommend it to prospective travelers.
